27 jan 2025 — Mirabel

Mirabel, January 27, 2025 – SAVOURA, a Québec leader in greenhouse agriculture, today announced the appointment of Luc Prévost as President and Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Peggie Clermont, who is leaving her position after more than five years of outstanding leadership with the company.

Peggie Clermont unequivocally led the company to achieve major projects, and especially to ensure its sustainability following the death of its founder, Stéphane Roy, in 2019. Her unwavering commitment and her strategic vision allowed the company to retain its status as a key player in the greenhouse production sector in Québec.

“It’s an emotional experience for me to pass the baton to Luc Prévost,” Peggie Clermont declared. “I’m convinced that his experience and vision can guide SAVOURA to a new phase of growth and innovation in synergy with the experienced team in place.  Until my departure, he can count on my complete collaboration. ”

Luc Prévost brings SAVOURA vast expertise in the fruit and vegetable sector, after previously playing key roles, notably with VEGPRO INTERNATIONAL and Lassonde. His appointment reflects the company’s commitment to ensure strategic continuity while adapting to tomorrow’s challenges and opportunities.

“I’m honoured to take over the management of SAVOURA and to continue the legacy left by Peggie with the teams in place,” Luc Prévost declared. Together with our teams, partners and customers, we will continue to innovate and strengthen our position as a Québec leader in greenhouse production. SAVOURA represents an emblematic brand in Québec and it’s a real privilege for me to perpetuate its growth.”

The transition between Peggie Clermont and Luc Prévost will be fully operational effective March 5.
