Cultivating a bright future for Quebec youth

30 may 2024

In today’s fast-paced world, where the correlation between what we eat and where it comes from is becoming increasingly important, we are involved in many ways in promoting the importance of agriculture and healthy eating. Through recent initiatives such as our participation in The Great Canadian Farm Tour with École-O-Champ and Agriculture in the Classroom Canada, we aim to enlighten the public and future generations.

Our participation in the May 1st event sparked a sense of wonder in students from kindergarten to grade 6. This immersive experience planted the seeds of a deeper understanding of how our food is produced, harvested, and transported from our greenhouses to grocery shops across Quebec and Ontario, leaving them inspired and curious about the world of agriculture.

Agricultural education is essential for the younger generation. It’s about knowing how fruit and vegetables grow and providing a platform for tackling crucial issues such as sustainability and resource conservation. By teaching these concepts from an early age, we are equipping our children with the tools they need to become positive agents of change in our society.

Enjoy!
